professional singer bio

I’ve been singing professionally since I was 14. Originally in local theaters and churches, then after college in several different rock n’ roll bands. Eventually, I was fronting a 16 piece orchestra singing standards and popular party songs at corporate events, weddings, bar mitzvahs, receptions, and more. I’ve also done several recording projects including, a gothic rock opera, a few commercials, and some other assorted studio work.

Most notably, I sang the National Anthem at Fenway Park in Boston on August 21, 2003, yes, right before they won the World Series. I’ve been out of the game, so to speak, for the past several years raising my 3 boys, Frank, Joey, and Mickey with my husband Paul. We’ve lived in Raleigh for the past 7 years and really love it here! I know that many couples have had to postpone their weddings due to COVID 19 restrictions and so when they’re eventually able to celebrate their long-awaited union, they’ll want to make it that much more special.

That’s where I come in. During my career, I have sung everything from Liza Minelli to Led Zeppelin, from Patsy Cline to The Pretenders, from Blondie to Blake Shelton. There isn’t a lot I can’t do and I have a lot of experience with ceremonies of all different faiths. I would love to sit down with you to discuss your upcoming wedding (or zoom as the case may be) to hear your thoughts and even to give you suggestions when necessary. Let me make your wedding the amazing event that you’ve been dreaming about! I’m also available for pre-reception cocktail hour if there’s a song or songs that you’d like performed there and have access to many great local pianists for accompaniment.
